Hash brown is a simple version of shredded potato cooked in pan. Hash Browns potato is a delicious and easy to prepare food that goes great in breakfast and as side dish. If you like cheese then top it with cheese at the end.
Classic Hash Browns Potato Recipe
- Potato 4 medium (peeled & grated)
- Onion 1 medium (sliced)
- Egg 1 (beaten)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Put grated potato and sliced onion on towel and twist the towel to squeeze out excess water.
- Place potato and mixture in bowl, add egg and season with salt and pepper.
- Add 2 tbsp oil in frying pan and pour a spoon full of mixture in pan and flatten into patties about 1cm thick. Flip over once browned and crispy – about 2-3 minutes each side.
- Serve hot.
