Beef with Stir Fry Vegetables

Combination of beef along carrot, capsicum and ketchup make a delicious dish. Beef and Vegetables Stir Fry goes great with fried rice and plain rice.

  • Beef 300 g (strips)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Carrot 1 (strips)
  • Capsicum 1 (strips)
  • Onion 1 (sliced)
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Stock ½ cup
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp (mixed in 2 tbsp water)
  • Ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Green onion 2 (sliced)
  1. Marinade beef strips with salt, black pepper and vinegar for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil and stir fry beef strips until tender, add water if required. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  3. Add crushed red chili, carrot, capsicum, onion, soya sauce, sugar and stock. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until veggies get soft.
  4. Now add corn flour paste while stirring. After that stir in ketchup and green onion.
  5. Remove from heat and serve with boiled rice.
You can boil the meat first, in this way you will also get stock. I also boiled it first then follow the rest of recipe.
