Fish is healthy to eat and best to eat in winter season. In this recipe a batter for fish is made for marinade then go to fish fry. Follow this recipe and make superb Spicy Fish Cubes. You can serve them as side dish and also in evening tea.

Ingredients
  • Boneless fish (cut into 1-½ inch cubes) ½ kg
  • Plain vinegar ½ cup
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Egg 1
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Lemon wedges 6-8
Instructions
  1. Marinate the fish cubes in vinegar for twenty minutes. Remove from the vinegar and pat them dry.
  2. Make a batter of gram flour, yogurt, egg, carom seeds, salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder, ginger paste and garlic paste.
  3. Keep the fish cubes in this marinade for about twenty minutes.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a wok and deep-fry the fish till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Sprinkle with chaat masala and garnish with lemon wedges and serve hot.
