Ingredients
  • Potatoes 3 medium
  • Capsicum 1 (sliced)
  • Carrot 1 (sliced)
  • Big red chilli 1
  • Garlic clove 3 – 4
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Cooking oil 3 – 4 tbsp
  • Green chilli 2 – 3
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Salt tor taste
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tbsp
  • Pita bread 2 – 3
Instructions
  1. Boil, peel and cut the potatoes in cubes
  2. Wash and boil red chilies in half a cup of water and blend with garlic and cumin
  3. Heat cooking Oil in a pan, pop green chilli and curry leaves in it. Add blended spices and stir well afterwards.
  4. When aroma comes, add potatoes, capsicum and carrot and mix well, add salt and tamarind pulp.
  5. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 3 – 4 minutes or until veggies are soft.
  6. Cut pita bread in halves and fill with vegetable mixture. Serve warm.
